Virtual - 25KM Adventure Race 2020

It's time to explore, learn, challenge, compete virtually in our Adventure Race. It took us some time to create a challenging, skilful yet engaging race during this COVID-19 period. This time also provides an opportunity for all those who ever wanted to be part of an Adventure Race but could not do it due to various reasons. This race is curated for beginners as well as elite athletes.  

For us, it is all about amplifying adventures, hence here we are with our VIRTUAL races, choose your option from below races: 

• Night Trail Run – 25th June to 29th June 2020
• 25KM Adventure Race – 4th & 5th July 2020
• Tandem Challenge (Team of Two) – 30th July to 2nd August 2020
• Foot Orienteering – Coming soon

Bring your friends, family and participate together while maintaining the social distancing. Make sure to take all safety measures as prescribed by the government. 

So, are you ready for your first Virtually Adventure Race? 

• Race Category: 25KM Virtual Adventure Race (Male & Female)
• Dates: 4th & 5th of July 2020 (Saturday & Sunday) 
• Entry Fee: Free 
• Disciplines: Cycling / Running / Orienteering (Navigation) Quiz and Other Tasks
• Race Split: 15 KM Cycling / 8 KM Running with 100 Meters elevation / 2 KM Run with 4 KG Backpack / Orienteering & Adventure Race Quiz / Other Tasks & not to forget Spirit of Adventure Race

How to participate:

• Register at NthAdventure website
• Join the NthAdventure AR club on Strava: https://www.strava.com/clubs/677596 
• Virtual AR will be active on the CLUB page for all athletes to join
• All registered participants will receive access to Race Booklet with detailed info before the race 
• Each athlete will receive Virtual AR submission form a day prior to the race. All the leg completion and uploading of your pictures/screenshots to be updated on the link
• Virtual Adventure Race begins on 12.00 AM IST on 4th of July 2020 and Race submission will close at 6.00 AM IST of 6th of July 2020
• Last day to submit your virtual adventure race would be 6th of July 6.00 AM IST

Important Notes:

1. Make sure to take all safety measures as prescribed by your government

2.  The idea behind Virtual AR is to bring awareness about the sport and to invite as many as athletes into the world of Adventure Racing as anyone and everyone can be an Adventure Racer 

3. You can run this Virtual AR any time within the allotted date & time from your comfort place

4. You can run this Virtual AR anywhere from this planet or neighbouring planet, yes ISS included

5. One can plan LEGS in stages, it is not mandatory that you must complete all legs at once, but if you are willing to run the complete course you are welcome

6. Take loads of photos and videos while racing, let’s share the joy with the world (Of course it will help you while submitting your race)

7. Results & Rankings: (Men & Women)

a. Most points WIN, in the event of a tie the athletes finished first (in Cycling & running time) will be declared the winner

b. We will go through all the web submissions and announce the winners & final ranking within 72 hours of race completion
