All mandatory equipment must be present at registration.

The mandatory equipment list is the minimum equipment competitors are required to carry with them during the event. 

Teams are to be self-reliant and should not expect other teams to support them with mandatory equipment.

There will be equipment inspections at registration and during the race in transitions and on the course. 

Teams found not to be carrying the mandatory equipment will be penalised according to the ARWS rules.
