Malabar Adventure Race - 30KM

NthAdventure is joining hands with Monkey Adventure and invites all Adventure Racing lovers to join us on this MALABAR edition to live the thrill of this amazing sport. 

ADVENTURE RACE is an internationally recorgnized sports hosted in various parts of the world from 25KM to 900KM long. Annually a world championship is hosted inviting TOP athletes from each country to fight for the ultimate title of WORLD CHAMPIONS. You will be mountain biking, Trail Running, Hiking & Orienteering, on a non-marked course using google maps to navigate across the finish line collecting all the checkpoints. No prior experience is required. The course has been designed as a first step into the world of Adventure Racing and will give you a true taste of multi-sport, expedition-style racing. From pro athletes to beginners, this race is for all those who want to experience as well as prepare for the next race

EVENT CATEGORIES: 

• 30 KM - SOLO (Men / Women)  - Rs. 999/- Per Athlete 
• 30 KM - Team of 2 (Men / Women / Mixed)  - Rs. 1599 - Per Team of 2 Athletes 

All events will come with a physical Google Map for orienteering

Race Split: 30KM Category

• Cycling: 70% includes Off-Road, Tarmac, cement road, Mud road, and no road sections (Approx. 15 - 18 KM)                                                                                                                                              
  • Trail Running / Hiking: 30% includes Trails, Tarmac, Cement, and rocky or muddy sections (Approx. 7 - 10 KM)
  • Orienteering: 100%

    ACCOMMODATION: For outstation athletes     

• Kannur has variety of stay options available from Homestays to Resort to Beach view villas. Make your own booking.

• All Adventure Racing Teams kit distribution, Cycle Check, Equipment inspection: 05:30 AM 
• Final Race Briefing at 6:30 AM
• Flag off of Malabar AR 2023 - 07:00 AM
• Closing Ceremony: 12:00 PM

L N T: We follow a very strict L N T Rule – LEAVE NO TRACE participants who do not follow it will be disqualified from the race without any notification, what you bring you should carry that back, no littering whatever reasons.

MAPS: The race is a non-marked course, Google Maps will be provided

CYCLE RENTAL 

• Bring your own cycles (MTB, Road or Hybrid). You can also rent at the venue. More details will be announced soon. 

NOTE:

• SOLO Category is introduced for purely Experience purpose. If you wish to get on National and International Ranking you need to race as Team.
