Adventure Race Carnival 2022

NthAdventure invites all Adventure Racing lovers to join us on this EXPERIENCE edition to live the thrill of this amazing sport. From competitive to trial categories, single sport to multiple sport disciplines. We are here to share more about this sport.

The Adventure Racing carnival is purely designed for ORIENTEERING activities using multiple sports disciplines.

You will be mountain biking, Trail Running, Ziplining, Hiking & Orienteering, on a non-marked course using google maps to navigate across the finish line collecting all the checkpoints. No prior experience is required. The course has been designed as a first step into the world of Adventure Racing and will give you a true taste of multi-sport, expedition-style racing. From pro athletes to beginners, this race is for all those who want to experience as well as prepare for the next race

EVENT CATEGORIES: 

• 10KM Trail-O - SOLO (Men / Women) 
• 5KM X 4 Trail-O - RELAY (Team of 4) 
• 5KM Trail-O - Family (Kid & Parent) 
• 3KM Trail-O - Kids 
• 1KM Kayak-O - SOLO (Men / Women)
• 25KM AR - SOLO (Men / Women) / Team of 2 
• 60KM AR - Team of 2 & Mixed Team of 4 (3 Men + 1 Women / 3 Women + 1 Men)

Terminologies:

• “O” – ORIENTEERING / Map Reading
• Trail O – Trail Orienteering – Orienteering on Foot
• 5KM X 4 Trail O – Relay Orienteering on foot - Each team member will be running the entire 5 KM course and the rest of the team members run the same course one after the other. Relay team can be all men or all women or mixed, only one map & passport will be provided for the team and the same map & passport must be used by every team member navigating each checkpoint.
• Trail O Family – One Parent and one kid, Maximum age not exceeding 14 years. Let them navigate and learn a new skill
• Kayak O – Kayak Orienteering – Orienteering in Kayak
• 25/60 KM AR – 25- and 60-kilometer Adventure Racing To know more LINK
• All events will come with a physical Google Map for orienteering.

Race Discipline: For both 25 & 60 kilometers of Adventure Race

• Mountain Biking
• Trail running
• Hiking
• Zipline
• Swimming (PFD provided)
• Orienteering (Google Map will be provided)

Race Split: 25KM Category

• Cycling: 70% includes Off-Road, Tarmac, cement road, Mud road and no road sections (Approx. 15 - 18 KM)                                                              
  • Trail Running & Hiking: 30% includes Trails, farmlands, Tarmac, Cement, Boulder sections (Approx. 7 - 10 KM)
  • Orienteering: 100%

    Race Split: 60KM Category  

• Cycling: 70% includes Off-Road, Hike-a-bike or Push-a-bike, Tarmac, cement road, Mud road and no road sections (Approx. 45 – 55 KM)                                                                      
  • Trail Running & Hiking: 30% includes Trails, farmlands, Tarmac, Cement, Boulder sections (Approx. 10 -15 KM)
  • Orienteering: 100%

    Other Disciplines:  

• Zipline: 200 Meters                                                                      
  • Swimming: Approx 50 Meters, Personal Floatation Device provided (Flatwater)

Sunday, 18th September 2022

• 25KM AR - SOLO (Men / Women) / Team of 2 
• 60KM AR - Team of 2 & Mixed Team of 4 (3 Men + 1 Women / 3 Women + 1 Men)

Includes: Race logistics, Maps, PFD, First-Aid, post-race refreshments, Access to the venue, adventure activities, and an amazing experience.

L N T: We follow a very strict L N T Rule – LEAVE NO TRACE participants who do not follow it will be disqualified from the race without any notification, what you bring you should carry that back, no littering whatever reasons.

MAPS: The race is a non-marked course, Google Maps will be provided
